Watersmudge strikes again. Safe to say I'll be exploiting this poor little brush for quite some time. I'll admit, I botched this portrait. Chalk this one up as a learning experience. Watched a cool little video over at ctrlpaint 'bout referring back to old works for a sense of progress. Wise words to those of you formatting your blog to post 'recent' or 'better' work ;)

This'll be the last post on this game, promise. It was pretty fun working on this early in the project. Deadlines have a way of curbing what you want and what you have time to do. Not to say deadlines are bad, quite the contrary; endless iteration can wear you out. All that to say, I enjoyed the little extra time I had with these. Enjoy.

:Speed Stream
I've actually set a timer on this to pace myself accordingly. The experience reminds me of gesture life-drawing in that you leave "mistakes" and find ways to make it work. This'll be an effective thumb-nailing process if I can curb the time down to a comfy 15 minutes (This was an hour). Once more I implore you lovely passer-bys to speak up in the comments section if something sticks out I haven't spotted.
